Job Description

My client is currently looking for Mechanical Handling Engineers to work in my clients surrey offices.  The candidate will be working with the maintenance department for a major gas processing plant therefore previous experience essential. Also candidates should and knowledge of detail step wise actions in route and non route maintenance of compressor pumps and gas turbines. It is also proffered by the client that candidate have LNG plant operations and maintenance work as well as shutdown planning exposure.

 

Duties for this position include:

 

·                                            Evaluate equipment removal methods & routes

·                                            Carry out crane access assessments

·                                            Update Project Philosophy and Handling Study documents

·                                            Compile list of mechanical handling equipment requirements

·                                            Produce specifications & requisitions for mechanical handling equipment

·                                            Act as Requisitioning Engineer for mechanical handling equipment

·                                            Define structural requirements for maintenance routes
